Now Evenstar Weyrhold has crossed a new frontier in the Alternative 9th Pass Timeline where it is located on the Eastern Islands, surrounded by the crystal clear water of the Eastern Sea. In this 9th Pass there are none of the characters that can be found in Anne McCaffrey's books, AIVAS was not found nor will it be. Pern at this time has little to no technology, the year is 2525, the middle of the Pass and Thread is falling, this is nothing new to most people and even though most fear it they are more fearful of the far too frequent meteoroids which are crashing down to the surface, no one can explain why these rocks are falling from the sky, many believe it is signaling the end of the world. Whatever the cause may be the face of Pern has changed drastically, many of the larger Weyr's have been struck by these massive rocks from the sky and destroyed, so the over flooding of Dragons, Riders and just general Crafts men and residents of Pern are looking to a new place to live, they are traveling to the less known parts of Pern, hoping to escape the bombardment form the sky. That is how the people of Pern found their way to the Eastern Island's, Evenstar Hold has been set up for 5 turns since the meteoroids began falling, and for just 2 turns a Weyrhold was created close by to offer protection from Thread, allowing the Hold to Expand and allowing people to come out from under the rocks, and out into the open.
