II. EvenStar Weyrhold Rules

Now the club has a few rules of its own on top of Anne McCaffrey's and they are here to make sure that the club runs smoothly and that there are as few problems as possible, so please make sure you read though them and know them. They are not to be broken. If a rule is broken, a warning will result. Continuance to break the same rule may result in being booted out of the club.

1. You are not allowed to have more that 10 (Ten) personas at one time, now if you are an active poster and wish to have more personas the you can request for another through the BoD. NOTE - Freebies do not count towards your total Persona Count.

2. The club is a PBeM (Play-By-Email) and this simply means that everything is done through a mailing list. When you have completed a post you are to send it to the mailing address, but ONLY the COMPLETED posts may go to the lists, this is not a "Round-Robin" club where you send a story with a paragraph or two and ask someone to jump on in and post! In the case of co-posts send your replies back and forth between yourself and your co-poster only, then when the post is done you are permitted to send it to the list, for more on posting check out the Posting Guidelines.

3. In order to count a post for a Requirement it must be at least 5k's long, for regular posts nothing smaller than 3k's to the list please.

4. There are certain creatures which are privileges in this club, Gold and Bronze firelizards are a prim example, if you ask for one of these while signing up be prepared to get a Brown instead unless we need more Golds or Bronzes, the same goes or Bronze Dragons, if there is a large number of Bronze Dragons in the club then you will probably be given a Brown instead.

5. At no time are you allowed to write for another writers persona, unless you have made a request to the writer and been giving permission from both the writer and the BoD.

6. People are here to have fun, not take abuse or harassment from their fellow members, you will only get one warning if you are found to be flaming, or insulting club members, if you do it again then you will be expelled from the club.

7. If you send any sort of "Spam" or "Chain Letters" to the mailing lists or directly to another members' e-mail then you will be warned and if it happens again you will go on probation from the club for a period of 2 weeks.

8. No matter how long you have been in Pern fandom you will be assigned a Mentor upon joining the club. Now there are ways to get through Mentorship fast, for this please check out the Mentor's Page.

9. The color/sexuality break down is as follows:

Gold Dragons: Heterosexual Females Only
Bronze Dragons: Heterosexual Males Only
Brown Dragons: Heterosexual Males Only
Blue Dragons: Homo/Bisexual Males; Masculine Home/Bisexual Females
Green Dragons: Hetero/Homo/Bisexual Females; Feminine Homo/Bisexual Males

10. There will be no /Timing/ in this club without permission from the BoD, don't expect having your request to have a character /Time/ unless you have a very good reason.

11. This club is rated PG-16, now that doesn't mean if you are younger you can't join, just please keep it in mind that violence will take place, as well death, rape and sex. But if you are going to write about these things you must have a warning at the top of the post to allow members to choose if they wish to read the post or not.
