Emotional Description:

Intelligent isn't the first word you'd want to use to describe E'kil, but it's one of them. He is intelligent-he knows more than the average person on about any subject that you test him on. He loves to learn and he does it well, converting almost every single fact that he hears into a rhyme or something of the sort that keeps it in his head.

But with this intelligence comes the ego, which is, perhaps, the first thing that should have been mentioned. He'll lord the fact that he's more intelligent than someone over them, bragging about how smart he is and telling them "fun facts" that he's sure they don't know. He personally believes that he's doing them a great favor by even talking to them, so it's really no surprise that he gets confused upon finding out that someone hates him. He's really hateable, in fact, because once he starts bragging about himself or telling a story about himself (which he does often, interrupting conversations that exclude him just to jump in with it) he _can't_ stop. He'll go on and on until whoever he's speaking too disappears or finally tells him to shuttup.

Since E'kil likes his fellow male, whenever he gets a crush on someone he's not afraid to go up to them and start flirting with them. The problem with this, though, is that he'll do his normal thing and start bragging about himself to try and better his name in their eyes-which doesn't work. So he thinks he's working his way up while he's really working his way down, so he's been quite unsuccessful in the love department, and the friend department, for that matter. If someone were ever able to be his friend, they'd have to be able to put up with him, and so far no one has proven quite able to deal with him...

Physical Description:

E'kil isn't fully grown yet, so he's only about five foot four-though still growing. He's also got the super-skinny look of a growing teen boy down pat. His hair is cut short, almost a buzz cut, and is a light brown in color, and his squinty eyes are an ugly muddy brown. His lips are thin and his nose is round and 'piggy.' His teeth are also something to note-they're a bit on the large side. Really, E'kil isn't that handsome...but he thinks he is. Also worth mentioning is his voice: A high pitched nasal tenor that can annoy even the most tolerant of people.

Eerkil was born the son of two residents at Nerat Hold. Never really interested in one single craft, the boy just followed around a harper, asking annoying questions and learning about everything that he could from everyone. He never really had any friends, and when he declared that he liked boys over girls that just made him more of a reject-not that he noticed the difference. His parents didn't like the way their son was growing up and decided to move to a nearby Weyr, where they'd been for quite awhile. born!

Dragon Description:

Thoth is by far one of the wisest in his Clutch. He possesses an excellent judgment that others will often admire and seek out for council. Thoth is very far from irrational and compulsive. Thoth always thinks things through before he makes a decision. He is very thorough and will do very well in his Weyrling classes because of this trait. Thoth is a very thoughtful towards others. He can very easily make friends but will stay away from those who he judges as irresponsible. Thoth is not one for mischief and prefers truth and justice. He has a very noble view of life. Thoth does not brag however about his intelligence and instead, is rather quiet. If approached, he will talk and be friendly but he is not likely to strike up a conversation with a stranger. Thoth does not like confrontation but he is not afraid of it. Often, Thoth can be described as a silent hero who does his part but refrains from basking in the glory.

Thoth is a bit tall for a blue. He isn't as wide though, making him appear a bit giraffe looking. Thoth could probably best be described as lanky, always looking just a bit too thin for his size. His limbs are gangly and his long tail doesn't help. Thoth's most distinguishing feature is his long snout. Thoth's hide is a dark blue with little variation over is body. On the top of his head the blue lightens a bit to a regular blue. Thoth's eyes are a bit small for a dragon and his neck is just a little too long. Over all, Thoth is a bit awkward looking but somehow, his personality seems to make up for it.

Thoth voice is always even and smooth. It is pleasant to listen to and almost forces one to listen because of it's sensibility. His voice is low with a deep resonance to it. Rarely does his voice rise or fall because he always thinks his words through before speaking.
