I. Club Structure

Now the way this club started out was rather odd, a bunch of us were chatting on MSN Messenger one night and someone brought up the idea for starting a new club, and it went crazy from there! Everyone throwing out suggestions for this that and the other thing, but after some minor things got pushed away the actual planning and decision making could take place. Basically the founders consist of myself (Sunrose), Kenya, Mac, Yoake, Himeko, Nicole, Heather A. and Amanda D. During all of this confusion everyone sort of turned to me to be the “Leader” of this new project, so I guess that sort of makes me the “Club Owner” in a way, but the truth of the fact is that we all worked hard to get this going.

The mission statement of the BoD is simple, first and foremost we want you to have fun, and this club is created for everyone to enjoy themselves in the wonderful world of Pern. The BoD is here because every world needs order, even if it is an online world, so we are here to make things run smoothly, we want you to feel comfortable and wish for you to have lots of fun with you’re personas. We do not wish to step on anyone’s toes, we are not here to look down on you and make you feel little and that you have no say in the club, because that is untrue! You are a member of this club and you therefore are entitled to you own opinion and we encourage you to voice you opinions and ideas at all times. So just look at us as overseers of the club, not the big bad team of Boardies, because that is the last image we want to give off.

Now please keep in mind that this club is a PBeM (Play-By-Email) club and it is simply done through Yahoo!Groups which is this great forum which allows you to have one list e-mail where all the posts are sent for all the members to read. Now this is _not_ a Round-robin type of club, all posts that are sent to the list must be complete; we will not tolerate you sending out half written posts asking for someone to finish it for you.
